Tracks is loosely based on My Tracks, the open source Android app I grew to know and love on my old Droid. after switching to an iPhone, I had a hard time finding something equivalent. The iPhone GPS tracking apps either did too much, or not enough. For Tracks, I wanted something you might use while hiking with the family or friends, and the photo feature felt more important than detailed stats or intervals.
